Vancouver sets record for longest dry spell ending in November

According to Environment Canada, Vancouver has officially set a record for the longest stretch (13 days straight) of no precipitation ending in November. The last fall record of continuous sunshine lasted for 12 days and dates back to November 19 to 30, 1956. Sadly, the dry spell will end tomorrow. According to Environment Canada, the sun is supposed to stick around until Friday afternoon, but showers are expected to start in the evening and last throughout the Remembrance Day long weekend.
