Metro Vancouver transit users have been asked to pack their patience and pad their commute times Wednesday, as bus operators will once again refuse overtime as part of their ongoing contract dispute job action.
TransLink has issued the following blanket alert for Wednesday, similar to that of Monday:
“Due to job action, Customers may experience reduced frequency on some bus routes on Wednesday Nov 20. Please plan for extra travel time.”
There are over 400 service alerts in place for bus routes across Metro Vancouver Wednesday morning. While a portion of those are related to construction, stop changes, and other disruptions not related to the job action, a significant amount are trip cancellations scattered across routes all through the region.
Due to job action, Customers may experience reduced frequency on some bus routes on Wednesday Nov 20. Please plan for extra travel time.
