Together, we will get through this as British Columbians

Dear Giorgio Moretti,
Warm wishes to you and your family. This is a time when we all support each other and those who are most vulnerable in our community.
As of Wednesday, March 18, 2020, British Columbia is under a public health emergency.
In these challenging times, there is much misinformation circulating, and I hope that these regular updates can help provide the most accurate information, and clarify any uncertainties. You can help keep your friends and neighbours informed by sharing this email.
To help reduce the burden on the 8-1-1 phone lines, there is a new online COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool that you can use if you feel ill and do not know what to do.
Here is a beautiful quote that I’ve recently come across:
Conversation will not be cancelled.
Relationships will not be cancelled.
Love will not be cancelled.
Songs will not be cancelled.
Reading will not be cancelled.
Self-care will not be cancelled.
Hope will not be cancelled.
May we lean into the good stuff that remains.

Together, we will get through this as British Columbians.
Sincerely,
Anne Kang, MLA
