Metro Vancouver chance of snow overnight

Environment Canada’s seven-day forecast is calling for a chance of snow across Metro Vancouver overnight.

Later this evening, once temperatures drop, the weather agency is calling for a 40% chance of flurries, with periods of snow starting after midnight.

Snowfall will continue overnight with another chance of flurries come Thursday morning.

Accumulation, if any, is expected to range between 2 to 4 cm.

Following Thursday, however, Metro Vancouver is in for five straight days of sunshine, with slightly higher temperatures than what we’ve seen this past week.

Nighttime temperatures will also drop by several degrees.

Environment Canada has not issued any special statements or snowfall warnings at this point in time.
