Lifetime of love & happiness

Umbertino (Tino) Cucca born February 2, 1984 came into the world left foot first to proud Italian parents Frank Cucca and Incoronata Bisceglia. Throughout his childhood he developed a love and passion for the game of soccer, achieving his goal of playing for the Under 17 Canadian National Team and eventually his highest achievement, playing with the Vancouver Whitecaps. Tino has always valued the importance of family. As a big brother to two beautiful sisters, Margherita and Antonietta, Tino has had a strong influence in helping guide them down paths of success. When not on the soccer field, Tino enjoys working for a wonderful family-owned business, Falesca Importing in the position of Sales Manager.

Candace Bree-Ann Letham was born July 13, 1988 to proud parents Gary and Maria Letham. As soon as she entered the world, it was clear that she had a zest for life and a stubborn personality. Her partner in crime, Brendan, was born three years later and together they created an unbearable bond. Candace quickly demonstrated a well-rounded nature, playing several sports throughout school including softball, basketball, and field hockey. She graduated high school with honours, obtained a Kinesiology Degree from UBC, and completed her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She now works in the Stroke and Neurology Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital as an Occupational Therapist.

From friends to soulmates. Tino and Candace met while working together at Regency Medical Supplies. With Tino persistently chasing Candace’s heart, their friendship quickly blossomed into romance, which was tough to hide from the workplace despite their efforts. Together they discovered their common passion for sports, true life crime shows, food, family, and each other. After growing inseparable, it was a trip to Hawaii that brought Tino down to one knee on November 6th, 2015. With happy tears, Candace obviously said YES! Together they tied the knot on June 24th, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with a reception following at the Italian Cultural Centre with just under 400 guests that included family and friends.
To the newlyweds, Mister and Miss Tino and Candace Cucca we wish you a life of happiness filled with love and good health!
