La castagnata calabrese 2018

The Associazione Culturale Calabrese had the annual Banquet La Castagnata on Saturday November 10th, 2018, the event took place in the Grand Ballroom. It was a lovely and elegant evening as over 600 guests grazed themselves with a night full of enjoyment. Local notable and prominent dignitaries, leaders, influencers and community members gathered together to celebrate the enchanting culture and beauty of Calabria. Dinner was served to guests along with chestnuts and lupines, music entertainment with Gianni Fuoco band kept the atmosphere alive. “All these Italian Associations are dedicated to very important work that supports the Italian-Canadian community. Thank you for making it happen every year this amazing banquets!’ declared vice consul Dr. Pasquale Bruni.
One dollar of each ticket sold went towards the Epilepsy Society of BC, also two scholarship donations of $500.00 each were made to Miss Calabria and Princess Calabria 2018.
