41st Anniversary Fundraising Gala

c9This year’s Fundraising Gala celebrates the 41st Anniversary of the Italian Cultural Centre Society here in Vancouver. The Fundraiser is an important annual event and opportunity for the community to support the Italian Cultural Centre’s mission to promote Italian language, culture and heritage, and to share these values with other communities. I am humbled to serve our community, along with our Board, we will work hard to promote our values, identity, language and heritage with all Canadians, especially the next generation of Italo-Canadians. For those of you who haven’t been able to attend to Il Centro Gala I would encourage you to join us every time for an evening of fine food, excellent entertainment, silent auction and a chance to support and celebrate Italian Culture, our heritage and the organization contributions to our multicultural community. Our goal of moving forward is to grow the event and increase the participation in the annual Gala, said in his speech Michael Cuccione president of Il Centro.
I would like to thanks all the board of directors, the employees and the volunteer which make possible this amazing event. The Gala is always an important event for il Centro and is an opportunity to showcase their activity and highlight the organization’s role in the community, added Massimiliano Iacchini Consul General of Italy in Vancouver.
Il Centro’s greatest challenge in organizing the Gala , engaging and attracting Italian-Canadian Associations and members to the event. The Gala is growing every year and has had strong support from sponsors and partners. The beautifully decorated banquet hall welcomed guests who enjoyed an evening of music and dance provided by Gianni Fuoco and Gustavo Herrera.
We are blessed to have our Italian- Canadian community that has such a credible and solid role in Canada. We hope to see more success with Italian Cultural Centre and also look forward to more events!
