On February 25, Famee Furlane of Vancouver hosted its Carnivale 2017 with the theme The Fabulous Fifties. The primary sponsors Gold for this event were: Joe Toso Management, Bosa Foods, C&S Tile Group, Star Tile and Consolato Generale Italiano a Vancouver. The Silver sponsors: Columbus Meat Markets, Ernesto Salvi Finacial Adviser Edward Jones and Hotel Blu Vancouver. Finally the Bronze sponsors were: Oballa Realty and Vancity.
The 2017 Carnevale was a big success. This event’s sole purpose was to promote the true Italian culture. This annual dinner and dance, which featured an antipasto bar, full course meal, open bar, DJ, entertainment, dancing, raffle, prizes and more.
It was a great learning experience for those who were not Italian as it taught many things people were not aware of. Over 150 Guests attended this year’s event and it was once again a huge success thanks to the continued support of the Sponsors, Volunteers, Guests and entire Team of Famee Furlane di Vancouver. Also congratulations to organized this amazing event to Famee Furlane board: Luigi Tuan, Laura Stefanon, Lino Topazzini, Nicola Guaran, Aldo Qualizza, Diego Marchi, Paolo Salvador, Rose Fabbro, Vito Mussio, Emi, Samuel and Dominic Garzitto, Marilynn Tesan, Josephine D’Odorico, Tony Fabbro and Corinna Marzin. What started off as a small get together with friends and family has now exploded into the biggest and best Carnivale Party in the city has ever seen! Over the years, the event has become a sell out success year after year and hosts the best dressed and masquerade for Carnevale.
